Tottenham Striker Harry Kane scored the only Goal in England’s Fixture Against the Resilient Denmark. England will now face Italy in the UEFA Euro 2020 Finals.
Harry Kane scored off a rebound after his Extra time Penalty was saved by Kasper Schmeichel to secure a Euro 2020 Finals’ Spot for England.
Mikkel Damsgaard put his team ahead 30 minutes into the game with an excellent Free Kick, but Game went level after Simon Kjær put the ball in his own net from Bukayo Saka’s Cross and pressure from Manchester City Striker, Raheem Sterling.
There have been major controversies to whether England was supposed to be awarded a penalty or not, I personally think it’s not supposed to be a penalty and it’s not so professional that the referee awarded that penalty.
Raheem Sterling definitely dived in the penalty area and we all saw that. Although England were favorites to win the match, the referee wasn’t suppose to award the penalty.
According to José Mourinho who is now a Pundit on Talksport, “Although England was the Better team, this should never have been a penalty”.
“For me, it’s never a Penalty and especially at this level – The Semifinal of the Euro, I don’t understand the referee decision, I don’t understand even less the V.A.R didn’t bring the referee into the screen and Over-rule the decision”
Do you think the referee’s Decision was fair, am eager to know what you think via the comments section.
