“We’re Here to Win!” – Cristiano Ronaldo’s Post Match Reactions

The Long awaited return of the Portuguese G.O.A.T Ronaldo was welcomed with two Solid Goals which helped United defeat Newcastle 4-1.

Ronaldo Scored his first goal in the Opening Moments of the game after Mason Greenwood’s Strike was not well saved by Newcastle’s Goalee.

Newcastle later equalized and made it 1-1 but Cristiano Ronaldo was not to be beaten on his Debut, a through pass from Shaw was expertly placed through the GK’s legs by Ronaldo to make it 2-1.


As if United haven’t Stumped their Authority yet, Bruno Fernandes delivered a Rocket to the Top Corner leaving Newscastle’s GK with absolutely no Chance.

The Last Goal was Scored by Jason Lingard who hasn’t Scored a Premier League Goal for Manchester United since July 2020.

After the Match came a Series of Questions pointed at the Portuguese one of which was “Did this match go as well as you wanted”.

Ronaldo answered the question saying that he didn’t expect to score twice… “Unbelievable! I didn’t expect to Score 2, I only expect to score 1 and it’s also unbelievable how this crowd was giving me all the support”.

“They Sing my name all game, so I was very nervous before the match but I belong to this Club and I wanna help the team achieve great things and I am very much looking forward to the next Games”.

Manchester United Head Coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer added that Cristiano Ronaldo had been looking forward to this match and also that he gave a little speech to the boys before the match.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is capable of sensing the moment and making use of it, he’s evolved from the Cristiano we used to know and I think he is a proper team player”.
