A blazing volley from Nicolo Barella at the 46th Minute and a penalty scored by Domenico Berardi made sure The Azzurri overcame a vulnerable Belgian team missing Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard to secure third place in the 2021 UEFA Nations League.

Batshuayi missed the opportunity to Level the game after his strike from a very tight angle managed to beat Gigi Donnarumma and hit the Crossbar. Shortly after, Chiesa was recklessly brought down by Timothy Castagne and despite the appeals by the Belgian Players, the ref. gave the spot-kick and Berardi doubled Italy’s Advantage.
Some fans say Belgium Manager made a huge mistake by not starting Kevin De Bruyne who was Substituted in just before the Penalty goal. The Manchester City Playmaker made the assist for the Last Goal of the Game.
Kevin De Bruyne charged on to Thibault Courtois’ Long throw and found De Ketelaere with an outsanding through ball, De Ketelaere calmly scored by slotting the ball between Donnarumma’s Legs. Belgium couldn’t find the one goal to take the match to extra time and the Lost to The Azzurri.
