Watford Outclass Man United 4-1 as pressure ramps up on Ole

Watford got a penalty in the First 10 minutes of the game, Femenia scored from a rebound after De Gea had parried Sarr’s Spot Kick, but the goal was disallowed after VAR Checks revealed that Femenia was encroaching before the Spot Kick was taken.

Watford’s Joshua King opened the scoring 28 minutes into the game after Wan-Bissaka’s poor clearance found Dennis who was at the edge of the box, Dennis drew the ball back for Josh king who slotted it past De Gea.

Watford scored their second goal and it’s as a result of poor clearance again – A deflected clearance reached K. Femenia who pullled the ball back for Sarr, Sarr drilled the ball low and hard into the far side of the net leaving De Gea with no Chance.

The Second Half of the fixture saw Donny Van de Beek and Anthony Martial enter in place of Scott Mctominay and Marcus Rashford.

Not long after their entrance, both players were key men in United’s Goal – Martial’s pass found Sancho’s feet, Sancho delivered a cross to Cristiano Ronaldo who headed toward goal, he’s headed effort was nodded into the back of the net thanks to Van De Beek.

When it looked like Man United could get back into the game, Harry Maguire made two clumsy tackles in a space of 22 minutes and he saw 2 yellow cards.

Joao Pedro extended Watford’s lead 2 minutes into added time, De Gea reacted well to his initial effort but Dennis slid the ball to Pedro again who just couldn’t miss from that sort of distance.

Dennis made the scoreline 4-1 with 90+6 minutes on the clock, it was an assist from B. Foster (Watford GK) and very poor defensive work from Manchester United.
