It seemed to be a triple threat match between Priest’s Dark side, Dolph Zigler and Damian Priest but in the end Damian was able to control his inner demons and secure the victory.
After being pushed to the wall last week and being defeated due to disqualification, Damian Priest was scheduled to face Dolph Zigler in a match without any Champion’s Advantage meaning he could loose due to DQ or count-out.
Dolph started off great, he landed a series of creative offences on the United States Champ. though it wasn’t enough to secure the victory.
As one would have thought, Robert Roode was out to help his partner loose to either DQ or count-out as he interfered in the match.
It even reached to a stage when Dolph begged Damian to hit him with a steel chair, things would have turned around for Priest if he hadn’t tamed the beast inside of him.
He used the steel chair to hit Roode on the face before Zigler caught him with the ‘ZigZag’ and a;most secured the victory.
Zigler was later caught with Damian’s signature finish The Reckoning and that would be the end of Zigler’s hopes of being United States Champion at least for the meantime.
